About the Spanish school

So let`s start your language adventure. You will follow your Spanish language course in Cusco at our highly valued Spanish school. This language school in Cusco is located in the center close to Plaza de Armas, the main square in Cusco. The school is midsize and with a very high level of a social aspect. This is very important to us because we don`t want you to 'be a number' like in a bigger Spanish school. The school takes their students out for dinner every Tuesday (you have to pay for the food yourself), and every Thursday there is a free cultural activity. On Saturday they will organize a hike to different non-touristy places in the Sacred Valley. You will learn a lot of Spanish and make new friends while you study Spanish in Cusco with us! During this Spanish course, you will have 20 lessons of group lessons per week in the morning from Monday to Friday. The group class is very small with a maximum of 4 students. Groups are small so that you will have optimal learning results. We give you also the option to add tours to this language course. So come study Spanish with us and visit Macchu Picchu in your next language program in Cusco!

Accommodation

As an accommodation, you have 2 options. You can stay in a school apartment. You share the apartment with other students, so fun is guaranteed. But you will have of course your private bedroom. The school apartment in Cusco is in a tranquil neighborhood not far from the city center of Cusco and the Spanish school. The apartments are completely furnished. The living room has cable TV, DVD, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, etc). So this is a good option for people that like to cook their meals.

The other option for a small extra price is to stay with a host family. Staying with a host family is the most popular accommodation option in Cusco. It`s a great opportunity for practicing your Spanish in real-life situations and to have a unique Peruvian experience. The host families are all in safe neighborhoods and a maximum of 20 minutes by bus to the school. Included are breakfast, lunch, and dinner with your guest's family. Peruvian style! And trust us, Peruvian food is the best food that you will experience in South America. Of course, participating is your own choice. When you do a homestay you have all the freedom and you can go wherever you want. It`s not mandatory to share every meal with the family and to spend always time with them.

Our recommendation: If you want to stay downtown and spend more time with other students. Then choose a shared student apartment. But if you want to get a better understanding of the Peruvian culture and practice your Spanish even more, then go for a host family!
